Recently, the American real estate company 3Strands announced the first 3D-printed house was for sale in the United States, which is the company's first residential project in Austin, Texas. The housing development was built by the architectural technology company ICON and designed by Logan Architecture. It features two-storey townhouse-style buildings, with each unit having two to four rooms.

Construction Process
According to the 3Strands official website, these houses are constructed using the Vulcan construction system, and each building can be completed in less than one week. The first floor of the houses is 3D-printed using ICON's "advanced materials," featuring excellent fire resistance, waterproofing, wind erosion, and resistance to other natural disasters. Apart from the 3D-printed sections, many components are fully prefabricated.
The houses feature a minimalist design with a front porch and parking spaces. The interior uses natural wood, metal finishes, and earth-toned tiles.
